Looking Forward to "2012":
Introducing the new year!
As
some of you know I am a stay at home (working) Mom. I have two
beautiful little girls. GracyMay is 5 years old and now in Pre-K. Her
teacher Ms. Karen said, "She is very smart and at the top of her class".
Yay, GracyMay! I pray that she stays that way through college ^_^ !!
And I have a 14 month old, Faithlyn that makes me smile everyday. She is
the happiest and funniest baby and brings so much joy into my mommy
lifestyle. Between the two I manage to keep our home in somewhat order.
Let me put it this way, we live in our home you can tell that as soon
as I open the door. Sometime ago our minister stop by unannounced and
he realized that he should call first. I had no coffee made and I warned
him we do not take lawsuits if you trip over toys. Anyway my husband
tolerates toys, craft supplies and finished products. I do have an
office but I have out grown it. Maybe some of you can relate. On top of
mommy-hood I also rent a show room in Natchitoches, Louisiana (39 miles
north of Alexandria, LA.) It is located off of Front Street in Gifts
Galore and More. I am generally stocking and displaying new products
once a month. The business name is "Treasure Chest Collections". I have
Home Decor, Sterling Silver Jewelry, Children Boutique Gifts and
Accessories. These are mainly retail items with some of my hand crafted
items. I recently have branched out and I have some products in a new
shop called "Somethin Snazzy" located in Alexandria, LA. off Jackson St.
Ext. She allows me to stock my products in her shop for a commission.
Her shop is very unusual, she has hand crafted items and retail. It's a
neat mixture like my show room in Natchitoches. I also setup at two
festivals every year. The Nursery Festival in March and The Pecan Festival in
November. So between my girls, carpool, my shops and shows I am busy.
So are you wonder how I do it? Well, I go, go, go! And I could use a
good week of sleep. =D However, I do the very best I can and focus on
what needs to be done with a lot of sticky notes. Now the reason I am
telling you this is I'm not a big business. I do not produce my items
overnight so please understand why I can not have a two day turn around
time. I will need a week to two, depending on where you are located and
whether it is holiday season to get your item/s to you.
So
for the new year when I post pictures of products I will indicate
whether it is a "ready to ship item" for sale or a custom item that
would require crafting time so you can decide what product you want to
order considering your circumstance. I do hope you like the new items I
have in store for this new year and I do hope you can be patient with me
as I create something special for you and yours.
This
year I will have many new products to offer. I will have some acrylic
paintings, etches, hairbow's and hair accessories, trendy children and tween
products. Whether you all may know, I have many craft interest and I
will be introducing some of them throughout this year so don't be
surprised by what you see. However, all items will be made, crafted,
designed or altered by me. What does altered mean? Well, I will have
purchased supplies to create and make the item or purchased an item and
added a little "bling" or some cute "fru fru" to make it more boutique
style (which I love so much). Don't forget I love to personalize stuff
too with my embroidery machine!
Also new this year, I will be opening a ETSY store so all can shop
me there as well. My ETSY shop will be linked to my facebook page so
my posted will notify my "Fabulous" fans what's new. And just a
reminder I will still accept all forms of payment EXCEPT - IOU'S ^_^
New
to this year will be contest. Yes, contest! I will host photo and fan
increase prizes for my Facebook page. I want more "Like's" this year so if you want to help I
will offer you a chance to win some fabulous prizes, gift certificates
and discounts. Speaking of discounts, periodically I will have sales and
offer Free Shipping too. So be sure to stay posted to what will be
happening next.
As
always your suggestions and comments are always welcome. I learn from
you all, about what you like to see and want to be made. I welcome what you
think and ideas so don't be shy send me a note on my new contact form on my Facebook Page.
Heads up, I check my email late after everyone is asleep so if I respond
at unthought of hours you'll know I am still at it.
Now
the best for last, but not the least: Customer satisfaction is one of my
priorities. So if you have any issues with a product please contact me.
I will do my best to reasonably get it right for you. Now I will have
no control over shipping issue so please understand if it is a carrier
issue. I mainly use the USPS priority flat rate and sometimes UPS for
larger orders. Your patience and understanding is very much appreciated.
I am very excited about the new year 2012 and I hope you will
continue to stay tuned for what is to come. As always, I treasure your
business.
THANK YOU!
Mary Byrd
